Please Pray!!!!!

Please pray for the people affected by the wildfire in Waldo Canyon, CO . Here is a link to a Google map of some of the damage done. Here is another link to before and after pictures of some of the neighborhoods.

The latest update that I've read is that the firefighters have controlled approx. 15-20% of the fire.

Please also pray for all the firefighters. These men don't get enough recognition. They put their lives on the line every single day! Please pray for their protection.

Birthday Part 4

After we went hiking at Elephant Rocks,Johnson's Shut-ins  and Taum Sauk Trail we finally went to our cabin,  Lilac's Edge.

It was really nice...

it came with a microwave, a toaster oven, a coffee maker and a mini fridge!

Our friends who own Lilac's Edge and Hummingbird Hideaway came up with a REALLY awesome idea! You build a fire, then put a giant hollow log on it and stick bamboo into it. The bamboo reacts with an EXTREMELY loud BANG!!

It was, SOOOO cool!!

We stayed one night at the cabin and got home just in time for church. It was the best birthday EVER!!
